When it comes to Samsung selling any of its devices, we have kind of become accustomed to hearing numbers in the millions. The latest phablet flagship from Samsung is no exception. The latest figures revealed by Samsung for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 reveal that Samsung has sold around 10 million devices in two months’ time.  This number is based on the supply that Samsung has done to its retail channels, carriers, distributors etc. Though the numbers are impressive, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is not the fastest selling smartphone from Samsung. That laurel rests with the Samsung Galaxy S4, which had sold 10 million units in one month.
The original Samsung Galaxy Note device had reached the 10 million units’ magic figure in nine months, whereas the second iteration – unoriginally named the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 – breached 10 million units in about 4 months’ time. It seems that the Galaxy Note 3 has bettered the sales momentum of its predecessors.
The Galaxy Note 3 has some tantalizing features, which are undeniably pushing these sales figures. The device sports a 5.7 inch full HD display with a 1080×1920 pixel resolution, 16/32/64 GB internal storage, a very ample 3 GB RAM, standard quad-band 2G, 3G and HSDPA connectivity along with penta-band LTE. Also available onboard is a 13 mega pixels (MP) primary snapper and a 2 MP front-facing secondary video call camera. The best feature of the Galaxy Note 3 is the S-Pen stylus, which beautifully extends the functionality of the Galaxy Note 3 through Air command popup – which includes support for handwriting recognition and provides easy access to Samsung’s flagship note-taking app – the S Note.  The device runs on the amazingly fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, while the other variant runs on Samsung’s Exynos Octa-core processor.
Samsung had released the Galaxy Note 3 in late September in over 50 countries. The device has enjoyed good sales run in South and South-East Asia, and is a very popular device in China, Japan and South Korea.
Fairly recently, Samsung has also announced the Galaxy Note 3 in two new color options – a Rose Gold and Merlot Red, which raises the available color options to six – Jet Black, Classic White, Bluish Pink, Rose Gold Jet Black, Rose Gold Classic White and Merlot Red.
