Users in India that are looking for a near all-in-one solution in an Android tablet have a lot of choices but, these often come at a premium. VideoCon’s latest tablet should be coming in at a lower-than-most price point. Bringing stock Android, 3G and voice-calling is a great deal and while the specs aren’t amazing, they’re more than good enough for most people, or at least those that won’t expect the world out of this tablet. Elephone P7 to Offer Quad-Core Performance on a Great Budget

Coming with Android 4.2.2, a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 and more, for just $100 US or less. That’s a hell of a deal for that price and while the display and build quality probably won’t impress many users, it’s a great deal for that price. The Nexus 5 is good value for money but, those on a budget will really appreciate this sort of pricing. The 5.5-inch device will only sell at under $100 US for the first 500 that go on sale, going up to $140 or so after that, so when it launches, those in the region will want to be quick.

ZTE Nubia 5S To Be Unveiled Shortly

zte-nubia-5s-invitation-540x524  The successor to the ZTE Nubia 5 is set to be unveiled November 19th, meaning we’ll have more info next week on their latest high-end device. So far however, things look like this is going to be a great device, with a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM and more. Premium materials and finish is probably going to be used as well, just as it has been in other Nubia smartphones.

Oppo N1 Now Officially Available in China

  Oppo’s latest flagship, the N1 is finally going on sale in China. THe 10,000 units that were made available earlier in the week have more than likely sold out already but, if you’re in China, there should be units out there for you to get your hands on. Coming in at CNY3498 ($574), the N1 is not cheap but, it’s definitely worth it with it’s rotating camera and new ColorOS, Oppo fans have been waiting for this one. Zopo to Launch First True Octa-Core Device November 21st

Next week, Zopo will be launching the world’s first “true” octa-core device. Only 5,000 units will be available and so far, we don’t know much more about the device other than its CPU, which is going to be the MediaTek MT6592. Such a CPU allows for all eight cores of the CPU to be active at any time. Hence, being called a “true” octa-core CPU. What else will the device be launching with? Only time will tell.

Kindle Store Finally Comes to Australia, Along With the Kindle Fire HD and HDX

Our friends down under can finally get in on the Kindle fun that the rest of the globe have been enjoying for years now. Amazon is at last launching an online Kindle store, and they’ll be offering the Kindle Fire HD and the HDX models through local retailers Dick Smith and Big W, going on sale just before Christmas. As for the Kindle store itself, Amazon is telling people that there will be 700,000 books priced at AU$3.99 or less and 1.4 million at AU$9.99. So, that’s one more choice of tablet and more books for our friends in Australia, not too shabby.

Lenovo S650 Goes on Sale in China and Russia

The Lenovo S650 is going on sale in China through Amazon and should be hitting Russia later on. Inside the budget-minded handset you’ll find a 4.7-inch, 960×540 display protected by Gorilla Glass. The phone also comes with 1GB RAM and a 2,000 mAh battery, and is running Android 4.2, Jelly Bean. For how much the S650 costs, it’s not that bad a deal at all, especially for a Lenovo device.

Huawei To Take on Xiaomi’s Red Rice With the Honor 4, To Pack Octa-Core CPU

Huawei’s CEO has been talking about their upcoming Honor 4 device that is going to take on Xiaoi’s affordable Red Rice phone. However, while Huawei is going to be competing on price, they’re also looking to do one better than Xiaomi with an octa-core CPU, the MT6592. The device is apparently launching next month and while we don’t know much about the device, the company’s CEO, Richard Yu has been talking a lot about the device and we’re sure it’s going to be good.
